Years in the making

Drum roll, please! We are pleased to announce Integrity Family Therapy, PLLC to the Charlotte scene. Let me introduce ourselves...I am Dr. Faith Drew and my partner and spouse is Dr. George W. Bitar. We are marriage and family therapists. Starting a private practice (on-the-side) has been a dream of ours for many years. Throughout the years we've talked about how we would start it, what we want it to look like, and why we want to do it. Well, the time has come to jump in and follow our dream!

We chose to start Integrity Family Therapy, PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina after moving here approximately one year ago. We both work full-time as Assistant Professors in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Pfeiffer University-Charlotte. We love the city, the people, and this is where we wanted our practice to take shape.

Our mission is to help people become who they are intended to be. We realize that integrity has different meanings to many people. Our meaning of integrity is geared towards a broader definition. We want to learn about the various aspects of client's lives in an effort to better understand ways they want to grow, change, and develop to get a more satisfying and fulfilling way of being.

Our passion is to work directly with individuals, couples, and families. For years we've provided therapy services and have enjoyed being with people and watching change occur in their lives. Don't get me wrong, therapy both for us and the client(s) is not an easy process; however, there is just something about being with people that is a privilege. Therapy is just something we love to do!

We're creating this blog as an extension of our services and to, well, just talk about interesting topics that may or may not impact personal well-being. Thanks for checking out our blog! Please feel free to check out our website: http://www.integrityfamilytherapy.com/.
